The Bilingual Revolution in Mexico City

Last Saturday, I participated in a panel on the future of bilingual and multilingual education in Mexico with Cristina Rascón (writer, literary translator, and director of Skribalia, a global school of online writers), Jonathan Payne (International Baccalaureate teacher at Churchill College) and Renata Somar (guitarist, literary translator, regional coordinator of Proyecto Échange , and director of Pli selon pli agency).

French Teachers Unite Around Biliteracy

On March 3, 2018, French teachers took part in a day-long workshop focusing on bi-literacy and the teaching of French in New York City. The “Building Biliteracy” teacher workshop was hosted by Boerum Hill School for International Studies in partnership with the American Association of Teachers of French and the Cultural Services of the French Embassy.

Book Talk at the Alliance Française de Los Angeles

Lots of interest for The Bilingual Revolution in Los Angeles. I had a great exchange with the participants, and presented my vision for the future of education which calls for the creation of dual-language education programs in every city. I also met with several very active parents and educators who are working towards creating new dual-language programs in Los Angeles.
