I’m embarking on an enlightening journey through Mexico City, delving into the marvels of bilingualism. From February 21st to 23rd, I’ll explore the profound impact that mastering multiple languages has on our children, families, society, and education.
On the 21st, I’ll be at IBERO where I’ll talk about bilingualism’s role in global readiness. The same day, I’ll be at UNAM, discussing the cognitive and societal benefits of bilingual education. The tour concludes at EFAD, where I’ll share personal stories and research findings on the beauty of linguistic diversity.
This series is a chance to explore bilingualism’s advantages, highlighting its importance in our interconnected world. It also marks the launch of “Conversaciones sobre el bilingüismo,” the Spanish version of my book, “Conversation on Bilingualism.” Join me in celebrating the linguistic richness bilingualism brings to our lives and dive into the fascinating world of languages in Mexico. Me embarco en un viaje iluminador por la Ciudad de México, adentrándome en las maravillas del bilingüismo. Del 21 al 23 de febrero, exploraré el profundo impacto que tiene el dominio de múltiples idiomas en nuestros niños, familias, sociedad y educación.
El 21 estaré en la IBERO, donde hablaré sobre el papel del bilingüismo en la preparación global. Ese mismo día, estaré en la UNAM, discutiendo los beneficios cognitivos y sociales de la educación bilingüe.
