I had the chance to meet with Deputy Chancellor Milady Baez of the New York City Department of Education at a breakfast roundtable on French dual language programs in NYC schools, organized by the French Consul General Anne-Claire Legendre.

The City has announced the creation of 68 bilingual programs for next year, and plans to open up to 100 if enough school communities can commit before June.
