Launch of The Bilingual Revolution in Arabic at 34th Sharjah International Book Fair

I am thrilled to take part in the upcoming Sharjah International Book Fair where I will share the floor with an impressive list of participating authors, poets, bloggers, movie stars and award-winning musicians, including Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, America’s most-loved host, Steve Harvey, Nobel Prize-winning Turkish author Orhan Pamuk, Mark Manson, New York Times bestselling author, Elisabetta Dami, a bestselling children’s author from Italy whose Geronimo Stilton series that my daughters love, and many more authors according to Gulf Today: Over 60 luminaries to topline Sharjah book fair.

The guests’ list includes two authors from Algeria – Wasini Al Araj, the author of ‘The Jasmine Necklace’ and ‘The Andalucian House’; and Ahlam Mosteghanemi, the author of‘ Memory in the Flesh’, for which she won the 1998 Naguib Mahfouz Award; Egyptian novelist Ahmed Murad, author of the book ‘Blue Elephant’; and Omani author Jokha Alharthi, the first Arabic-language writer to win the prestigious Man Booker International Prize. The fair will also provide the perfect setting for the release of my book, The Bilingual Revolution, in the Arabic language. Since Sharjah has been chosen as the World Book Capital this year, the 38th Sharjah Book Fair is a significant one. The fair will run from October 30 till November 9 at Expo Centre in Sharjah. Thank you, Sharjah Book Authority for the invitation.
